OS X icons [New download link added]
For a small personal project, I wanted to clean up my Dock in Mac OS X, and present a clean, unified, and appealing solution to the various sized and shaped application icons. The goal was to make it look nicer, but also maintain the applications' individuality and instant recognition. In the end, I think the results were a success. If you own a Mac, and are interested in using these icons yourself, send me a message and I can share them with you.
The dock on my Mac was a discordant mess.
I decided it was about time I did something about it.
Inspired by things like iOS7, Windows 8, and other design trends,
I set off to revamp my desktop.
The results are as follows.
